Paaso, Sullivan Road Mile Wins Lead NBSV Weekend Results

Kris Paaso and JT Sullivan took home top honors and new club records at the 3rd annual One Mile Bang in Los Gatos on Sunday July 8th.   While final results are still being worked out, Paaso is believed to have run 4:45, benefitting from a flat, fast course, a 66 opening quarter, and a smidge of elevation loss.  Sullivan, just entering summer training, bested the field with a pragmatic 4:18.  Both will contest the Pacific Association Road Mile Championships in San Rafael on Sunday, July 15.

Also on Sunday, Maggie Conley capped a busy multisport spring schedule by mixing it up with a deep and talented pro field at the Portland REV3 70.3 distance triathlon.  Conley finished 13th in the pro wave in warm conditions.

On Independence Day, Peter Trudelle and Dena Evans contested the Redwood City 4th of July Parade Run 5K.   Peter ceded the family victory to his brother by three seconds in a 6th place effort, while Dena earned 2nd amongst West Valley TC members in 1st, 3rd, and 4th.
